CAMPAING FOR THE SAVING OF WATER, POWER AND SOLID WASTE

We encourage our guests to follow our recommendations:

For water saving and conservation:

  • Make sure to close well the faucets and shower before leaving the room or going to bed.
  • While soaping your hands or body, don´t forget to close the faucet or shower.
  • There is a faucet near each room, where you can wash your shoes before coming in to the room; this will save the water used for cleaning the rooms.
  • If you notice a problem or damage or leaking in the room, toilet, shower or plumbing of the hotel, please report it to the reception desk. Repairing water leaks in time will help us not to waste water.
  • Leave your towel hanging if it’s clean, or on the floor if it has to be changed. Help us to avoid any unnecessary laundering.
  • Try to use skin care products like shampoo, soaps, insects’ repellents, sunblock and conditioner that are biodegradable. We encourage the use of the biodegradable soap provided in the rooms to contributing with the waste water treatment system of the hotel.

For saving electricity.

  • Turn off all lights, fans and air conditioners when they are not needed or before leaving the room.
  • Turn on only the lights you need.
  • If you notice damage on the electric equipment in the rooms, illumination of equipment in general, don’t hesitate to report it to the reception desk.
  • Unplug all electronic equipment chargers such as laptop computers and cell phones charges when they are not being used.
  • Use the hot water only when needed.

To reduce the amount of solid waste.

Apply the 5 r´s, recycle, reuse, refuse, reduce, repair, during your stay in the hotel or when visiting nearby areas.

  • In the hotel we have a process of solid waste separation, for this reason that we invite you to divide all solid waste and deposit them in the recycling center before going to your room.
  • Reuse empty bottles. We´ll gladly refill your water bottles with cold water. The hotel´s water is drinkable and we have a water filter at the restaurant.
  • Avoid the use of products that have restrictions against the environment like sprays and other products that could generate pollution.
