By bus, travel from San Jose to San Isidro and then to Uvita (5 hours).
From there you can take a bus or taxi to Playa Tortuga, Hotel Villas Gaia (15 km).

Or

Travel by bus from San Jose to Cortes ( 7 hours).
From there you can take a bus or Taxi to Playa Tortuga, Hotel Villas Gaia (18 km).

Buses travel three times a day from Dominical / Uvita to Hotel Villas Gaia and back and can be used to visit the beaches of this area.
